Spray at room temperature by moving the can from side to side and up and down, keeping it vertical or slightly tilted at a distance of 30 - 40 cm from the completely dry object. (Change the direction of spraying away from the painting!) It can be applied to the paint layer only after it has completely dried (drying time for oil colors: at least 8 - 12 months; drying time for thin acrylic paints: approx. 3 days, for thicker acrylic layers: approx. 1 - 2 weeks, drying time for gouache: approx. 1 day). The dried varnish layer remains soluble over time in turpentine substitute 50019, turpentine oil 50024\/50102, or varnish remover 50060. Varnish layers normally used in practice do not provide special UV protection to the paints used! Therefore, we recommend using high-quality, lightfast artist paints from the very beginning. Subsequent varnishing of the surface of a painting produced using materials low in binding agents, especially pastels, gouache, and watercolors, may cause a noticeable darkening of the color shade. Varnishes may also increase the transparency of some surfaces, such as paper. The product is also suitable for inkjet prints, art prints, or photographs. Clogged spray nozzles are best cleaned using acetone. Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C (122 °F). Individual preliminary tests are required. Sizes: 150 ml and 400 ml. Contents: propane\/butane, acrylic resin, UV absorber, mineral spirits; 50592 and 50594 also contain a matting agent.
