Copic is a brand of the Japanese company Too Corporation, with roots dating back to 1919 when an entrepreneur named Ishii Soyo opened an art supply store called Izumiya in the Shibuya district of Tokyo. The name Copic comes from the fact that the first markers, launched in 1987, could be used without smearing the ink of the photocopiers that were becoming widespread at the time.

Copic markers are professional drawing markers that are alcohol-based, quick-drying, and can be layered to create smooth color transitions. All models are refillable with Various Ink bottles and feature replaceable nibs, providing both an environmentally friendly and long-term economical solution.
