Daler-Rowney is a well-established British art supply brand with roots dating back to 1783, when brothers Thomas and Richard Rowney opened a perfume and wig shop in London. Over time, the Rowney family became known for their expertise in pigments and colors, shifting their focus to artist paints and gaining recognition by supplying materials to figures such as John Constable and J.M.W. Turner. In 1983, the Rowney company merged with paper and board manufacturer Daler Board to create the Daler-Rowney brand as it exists today.

The brand’s most distinct advantage is its over two centuries of experience in color and pigment production; this accumulation of knowledge allows them to develop product ranges that cater to different budgets and skill levels. Daler-Rowney was one of the pioneers of acrylic paint with the launch of its Cryla acrylic series in 1963, and today it continues to maintain its quality standards by keeping production in the UK.

Within the collection, the Georgian oil paint series for professional artists stands out with its high pigment density and creamy consistency, while the Graduate series offers an affordable yet satisfying alternative for intermediate artists. System3 acrylic paints are available in 150 ml and 500 ml bottle options, while Aquafine watercolors are included in the range in both pan and tube formats. In addition to these, hard black-cover Sketchbook sketchbooks, Fine Grain and Simply series drawing pads, as well as the watercolor medium Gum Arabic and water-based block printing medium used in printmaking techniques, complete the collection.

As one of Daler-Rowney’s authorized retailers in Turkey, Karin Sanat stocks the brand's full range of oil paints, acrylics, watercolors, and paper products. All items are procured through official distributor channels with an authenticity guarantee and are available at our Fatih and Nişantaşı stores as well as via karinsanat.com.
