RGM is one of the world's most established manufacturers of painting spatulas (palette knives), founded in 1961 in Maniago, Italy, by Mario Gastaldo Rosa. Maniago is a city renowned for its centuries-old tradition of steel and cutlery craftsmanship; by bringing this local expertise to the production of artist tools, RGM quickly established the brand as a leading name in the fine arts market.

The brand's most distinctive feature is that each spatula blade is hand-ground to optimize its flexibility and precision. Wood and brass ferrules are used for the handles; this traditional production method ensures a consistent quality standard across a range that now includes over 200 models. Under the management of the founder's son, Edoardo, the company has expanded into international markets, yet all production is still carried out in Italy.

The collection includes classic and New Age/New Generation painting and palette spatulas (both individual pieces and sets), large-surface mixing spatulas, dual-function steel/wood modeling tools for sculpture and restoration work, engraving and etching tools, and linoleum sheets for linocut printing. This wide range appeals to artists from various disciplines, from painters working with oil and acrylic techniques to practitioners of sculpture, restoration, and printmaking.

As one of RGM's authorized dealers in Turkey, Karin Sanat maintains a comprehensive inventory of the brand's spatula and studio tool product range. All products are sourced through official distribution channels with an original product guarantee and are available at our Fatih and Nişantaşı stores, as well as through karinsanat.com.
