Rotring is one of the world's most established brands in technical drawing and writing instruments, founded in Hamburg, Germany, in 1928 under the name Tintenkuli Handels GmbH. The brand name comes from the red ring symbol on the pens (which means "red ring" in German), and the company adopted its current name in the early 1970s.

The brand's most distinctive feature is its engineering approach that revolutionized technical drawing. Launched in 1953, the Rapidograph replaced the ruling pen with its refillable ink reservoir and pressure equalization system, becoming the standard technical pen of its era. This precision is also maintained in the brand’s mechanical pencils; in particular, the full-metal body and hexagonal design of the Rotring 600 series provide comfort and balance for long-duration technical drawing tasks.

The collection includes Tikky series mechanical pencils for students and daily use (including school sets, retro and RD models), all-metal Rotring 600 mechanical pencils for professional technical drawing, Isograph Rapido technical drawing pens with refillable ink reservoirs (in 13 different tip thicknesses from 0.1 mm to 0.8 mm), and disposable Tikky Graphic technical drawing pens. These products appeal to a wide audience, from professionals working in architecture, engineering, and technical illustration to students looking for everyday tools.

As one of Rotring's authorized dealers in Turkey, Karin Sanat stocks the brand's full range of mechanical and technical drawing pens. All products are supplied through the official distributor channel with an original product guarantee and are available at our Fatih and Nişantaşı stores as well as via karinsanat.com.
