Directions: Shake well before use. The watercolor binder is “ready-to-use,” but can be diluted with water if necessary. Rub one teaspoon of pigment and a small amount of the product into a smooth paste on a glass grinding plate or a flat glazed tile. The mixing ratio of binder to pigment depends heavily on the type of pigment. Approx. 1 part pigment to 2 parts binder (by weight). Depending on the pigment, more binder or more pigment is added to achieve the desired consistency. The correct proportions have been reached if the dried paint strokes have a smooth surface and do not smear when rubbed with the dry heel of the hand. The product is miscible with water and remains water-soluble after drying. Please clean working tools as soon as possible with water or water and soap. Close immediately after use.
