Usage Shake well before use and stir if necessary. Gesso is ready to use and should be applied in two or three thin layers. (The previous layer must be completely dry before applying the next one!) If necessary, the product can be diluted with a maximum of 10% water. Once dry, it is water-insoluble. If required, the product can be sanded thoroughly. If a primer in a different shade is desired, the product can be individually tinted using Schmincke acrylic colors. If the surface is highly absorbent, such as natural canvas, it should be pre-treated with primer 50510. Please clean tools such as brushes as soon as possible with water or water and soap. Please do not use the product at temperatures below 10°C or at temperatures below room temperature. Close immediately after use. Store in a cool and dry place. Protect from frost.
