The Lâle Mecmuası (Tulip Journal), believed to have been compiled in 1725 and published by Ekrem Hakkı Ayverdi Kubbealtı Neşriyat, is the most important source of information regarding the forms of Istanbul tulip varieties. In this work, which was prepared for publication by Uğur Derman, there are original illustrations of 50 tulips alongside an article by Ekrem Hakkı Ayverdi.
