Matboard is a type of frame insert, usually made of cardboard, that allows pictures, photographs, or other works of art to gain a more aesthetic appearance within a frame. Preferred by art lovers and design enthusiasts, matboard helps works stand out while also serving a protective function. This space created around the work provides visual balance, offering the viewer a more aesthetic experience.

Matboard can be preferred in various fields. It is widely used in art exhibitions, photo studios, and even home decoration. Especially matboard frame combinations allow works of art to be displayed more impressively on walls. In addition, frames with matboards offer a meaningful touch for pictures or photos you give as gifts to your loved ones on special occasions.

There are many advantages to using matboard. First of all, matboards produced with handmade Nepali paper and fabric ensure that your artwork looks more elegant within the frame, creating an aesthetic presentation. Furthermore, matboard increases the distance between the work and the frame, allowing the work to stand out more. This is a great advantage, especially for valuable paintings and photographs.

There are a few important factors to consider when choosing a matboard. First, the quality of the matboard plays an important role in protecting the work. By choosing non-acidic materials, it is possible to ensure the longevity of your artwork. Additionally, the color and thickness of the matboard can affect the overall appearance of the work. With matboard options in different colors and thicknesses, you can further strengthen your artistic expression.
