Aqua Drop Liquid Watercolor The Aqua Drop series is a liquid, pigment-based, highly lightfast, water-soluble, ready-to-use, and dilutable watercolor paint. It comes in 30 ml dropper bottles with 24 different color options, and each bottle contains a small ball to ensure the paint can be mixed thoroughly by shaking. It is an ideal paint for many different techniques such as watercolor painting, urban sketching, calligraphy, hand lettering, and airbrush ink techniques (from 0.15 mm). The Aqua Drop series consists of 24 cadmium-free, transparent colors and an opaque white. The paints have the highest level of lightfastness: 4 or 5 stars for all colors. The pigments in the paints are of the highest quality (finest quality) in terms of fineness and concentration. All AQUA DROP colors can be mixed harmoniously with all Schmincke watercolors, such as HORADAM® watercolor and AKADEMIE® watercolor. The opaque white color in the series can be used as a pure white or mixed with other colors using a brush or pen nib to lighten them. It also increases the opacity of the paints. (Do not use the opaque white color or paints mixed with it with the Aqua Drop Liner pen!) Note on paper or other application surfaces: AQUA DROP is a watercolor and is therefore suitable for all watercolor papers and pre-primed canvases. For an even application with the AQUA DROP LINER pen, smooth, hot-pressed papers are recommended. The purer the color is applied and the more absorbent the substrate is, the stronger the pigments will bond to the substrate. It is recommended to perform individual preliminary tests before proceeding to the final work.
