Schmincke Aqua Drop Liquid Watercolor Brush Tip Refillable Pen

Aqua Drop Liquid Watercolor is a series of liquid, pigment-based, highly lightfast, water-soluble, ready-to-use, and water-dilutable watercolors. It is available in 30 ml dropper bottles in 24 different colors, and each bottle contains a small ball that allows for easy mixing by shaking. It is an ideal paint for many different techniques such as watercolor painting, urban sketching, calligraphy, hand lettering, and airbrush ink techniques (from 0.15 mm). The Aqua Drop series consists of 24 cadmium-free, transparent colors and an opaque white. The paints have the highest level of lightfastness: 4 or 5 stars for all colors. The pigments in the paints are of the finest quality and intensity. All AQUA DROP colors can be mixed seamlessly with all Schmincke watercolors, such as HORADAM® watercolor and AKADEMIE® watercolor. The opaque white color in the series can be used as a pure white or mixed with other colors using a brush or pen tip to lighten them. It also increases the opacity of the colors. (Do not use the opaque white color or paints mixed with it with the Aqua Drop Liner pen!) Note on paper or other surfaces: AQUA DROP is a watercolor and is therefore suitable for all watercolor papers and pre-primed canvases. For an even application with the AQUA DROP LINER pen, smooth, hot-pressed papers are recommended. The purer the color is applied and the more absorbent the substrate, the more strongly the pigments will bind to the surface. It is recommended to perform individual preliminary tests before starting the final work.
