Directions for use: Dammar in pieces is soluble in turpentine 50024/50102 or turpentine substitute 50019. For a standard dammar solution, please mix 1 part dammar with 3 parts of the aforementioned solvent (by weight). Our recommendation: Place the mixture of the product and solvent in a clean, airtight container, e.g., a glass bottle, and lay it on its side, so that the surface area of the product is maximized for better solubility. Dissolving the resin takes some time: As a guide for a total of 400 g of dammar solution, you should account for approximately 6 hours. To accelerate the process, it is useful to shake the contents of the container several times briefly. (Important: The process must be carried out at room temperature - the resin solution must not be heated!) Please clean tools as soon as possible with turpentine substitute 50019, turpentine 50024/50102, or brush cleaner 50051/50052. A dried dammar solution remains soluble in turpentine 50024/50102, turpentine substitute 50019, or varnish remover 50060 over a long period. Close immediately after use.
