Consequently, the pans contain an exceptionally high concentration of dense, pure pigment. The gum arabic used as a binder in Horadam watercolors is carefully selected from the highest-quality sources. Dried watercolor on the palette remains completely reusable. Excellent flow control is maintained even on the softest watercolor papers. Carries the 'Made in Germany' quality seal. Pans and tubes contain the same high-quality paint. The 140 different colors are available in full pans, half pans, 5 ml tubes, and 15 ml tubes. On the 125th anniversary of Horadam watercolors (2017), as a result of years of research and development in Schmincke laboratories, the company expanded the Horadam range and enhanced the quality and efficiency of existing paints to offer 140 color options to art lovers. The capabilities of new pigments, the desire to meet customer demands, and new opportunities in the raw material market inspired Schmincke’s efforts to perfect and expand the Horadam watercolor range.
