This new, refined and expanded range now offers 140 shades: 139 vivid, brilliant, high-intensity colors plus ox gall. Of these, 100 are unchanged classic tones, 35 are new shades, and 4 have been laboratory-optimized — all formulated at artist-grade pigmentation. 112 shades in the series offer maximum lightfastness and permanence (4- and 5-star rating). For the most vibrant and efficient mixing results, 95 shades are single-pigment pure colors.

Quality appreciated by artists worldwide: to achieve the highest pigment yield, the watercolor pans are filled with liquid paint in four separate applications, each left to dry fully before the next. This process packs the pan with the highest possible concentration of pure, intense pigment. The gum arabic used as a binder in Horadam watercolors is carefully sourced from only the finest producers. Paint that dries on the palette remains fully reusable. Excellent color flow control is maintained even on the softest watercolor papers. Made to German quality standards. Pans and tubes contain paint of identical quality.
