Schmincke Horadam Aquarell Wooden Box Supergranulation 50 Half Pan 74450

The Schmincke Horadam Supergranulation Watercolor Set is a beautiful wooden box set consisting of 50 half pans, featuring the Volcano, Galaxy, Tundra, Deep Sea, Glacier, Shire, Forest, Haze, Desert, and Urban collections, comprising the full Supergranulation collection. These color groups draw inspiration from natural landscapes and are ideal for skyscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, forests, glaciers, and more. Their granulating properties create incredible textures on paper. The set also includes a ceramic palette for mixing colors. The distinctive feature of Schmincke Horadam Supergranulation Watercolors is that they contain a combination of two or more granulating pigments that separate and settle onto the paper surface to create beautiful textural effects. To reach high standards in terms of lightfastness, resolubility, and stability, Schmincke Horadam watercolors contain only the finest raw materials. The paints are bound with Kordofan gum arabic from the southern Sahara. Due to the natural source of the binder, gum arabic tends to vary slightly from year to year. Schmincke constantly tests its ingredients and selects the best of the batch to ensure the highest quality is achieved. This means that paint drying on your palette can be easily re-wetted and reused.
