Directions: • Shake well before use. • General Varnish, Semi-Matt is ready to use. It can be thinned with 50019 Turpentine. • After the paint layer has dried completely at room temperature, it should be applied with a suitable varnish brush or lacquer roller. (Drying time for oil paints: at least 8-12 months; drying time for thin-layer acrylic paints: 3 days; drying time for thick-layer acrylic paints: 1-2 weeks; drying time for gouache paints: maximum 1 day). • Please clean your brushes, palettes, and other materials as soon as possible using 50019 Turpentine or 50051/50052 Brush Cleaner. • Dried varnish layers can be dissolved over time using 50019 Turpentine and 50060 Varnish Remover. • The varnish layer does not provide extra special ultraviolet protection for your paints. Therefore, we recommend that you create your work using lightfast and high-quality paints. • Repeated applications may cause smudging and darkening on surfaces painted with materials that have low binder content, such as watercolors and gouache. Excessive use of varnish may cause a loss of vibrancy. The product may also cause supports such as paper to become transparent. • Close the cap immediately after use. • Store in a cool, dry place. • Test before use.
