Usage: Shake well before use. Spray at room temperature by moving the can from side to side and up and down, keeping it in a vertical or slightly tilted position at a distance of 30 - 40 cm from the completely dry object. (Perform changes in the spraying direction away from the painting!) It can only be applied to the paint layer after it has dried completely (drying time for oil colors: at least 8 - 12 months; drying time for thin acrylic colors: approx. 3 days, for thicker acrylic layers: approx. 1 - 2 weeks; gouache drying time: approx. 1 day). The dried varnish layer remains soluble over time in turpentine substitute 50019, turpentine oil 50024/50102, or varnish remover 50060. Normally, varnish layers used in practice do not provide special UV protection to the paints used! Therefore, we recommend using high-quality and lightfast artist paints from the very beginning as much as possible. Subsequent varnishing of the surface of a painting produced using materials with low binding agents, especially pastels, gouache, and watercolors, may cause a significant darkening of the color shade. Varnishes may also increase the transparency of certain backgrounds, for example, paper. The product is also suitable for inkjet prints, art prints, or photographs. Clogged spray nozzles are best cleaned using acetone. Store in a cool and dry place. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C (122 °F). Individual preliminary tests are required. Sizes: 150 ml and 400 ml. Contents: propane/butane, acrylic resin, UV absorber, mineral spirit; 50592 and 50594 also contain a matting agent.
