Schmincke Akademie Oil Paint 200 ml Series 1 606 Sienna

Series 1 606 Sienna Schmincke Akademie Oil Color Artist Series The Schmincke Akademie oil color series consists of 48 vibrant and brilliant colors. All colors in this series have maximum lightfastness (4 and 5 stars). It has an ideal consistency for fluidity, featuring a soft paste-like texture. It possesses a drying property that allows it to spread quickly and evenly across paint layers. By mixing the primary yellow, primary magenta, and primary cyan colors of the series, you can obtain many secondary colors. The Akademie oil color series guarantees a bright and eye-catching painting experience due to its range of colors consisting of many single and pure pigments. It can be used directly from the tube or mixed with other paints. Developed through educational experiments in Schmincke laboratories, this balanced series, ideal in many aspects, also includes opaque and transparent colors. Additionally, as a special feature, it contains 4 different white colors. With these 4 white colors, you can achieve various goals such as lightening colors through gradual mixing or creating a white underlayer for working on top. The natural sunflower oil used in the paint's formulation ensures an optimal drying process and a smooth, evenly dense consistency. All 48 colors are available in 60 ml tubes, while 38 colors are offered in 200 ml tubes. Titanium white has also been released in 500 ml large jars and 5-liter buckets. All Akademie oil colors can be mixed and used with other Schmincke oil colors (Mussini, Norma Professional, and College series) and the entire range of extensive Schmincke oil painting mediums. This allows for the creation of an infinite number of alternative colors, tones, and mixtures.
