Schmincke Aqua Drop Liquid Watercolor May Green 30 ml

Aqua Drop Liquid Watercolor is a liquid, pigment-based, highly lightfast, water-soluble, ready-to-use, and water-thinnable watercolor. It is available in 24 different colors in 30 ml dropper bottles, each containing a small ball to ensure proper mixing when shaken. It is an ideal paint for many different techniques, such as watercolor painting, urban sketching, calligraphy, handwriting, and airbrush ink techniques (from 0.15 mm). The Aqua Drop series consists of 24 cadmium-free, transparent colors and one opaque white. The paints have the highest level of lightfastness: 4 or 5 stars for all colors. The pigments offer the finest quality and intensity. All AQUA DROP colors can be mixed seamlessly with all Schmincke watercolors, such as HORADAM® watercolor and AKADEMIE® watercolor. The opaque white color in the series can be used as a pure white or mixed with other paints using a brush or pen nib to brighten colors; it also increases the opacity of the paints. (Do not use the opaque white color or mixtures containing it with the Aqua Drop Liner!) Note regarding paper or other surfaces: AQUA DROP is a watercolor and is therefore suitable for all watercolor papers and pre-primed canvases. For uniform application with the AQUA DROP LINER, smooth, hot-pressed papers are recommended. The more purely the color is applied and the more absorbent the substrate, the more strongly the pigments will bond to the surface. It is recommended to conduct individual preliminary tests before starting original work.
