Schmincke Aqua Drop Liquid Watercolour Vermilion Red 30 ml

Aqua Drop Liquid Watercolor is a pigment-based, highly lightfast, water-soluble, ready-to-use, and water-dilutable liquid watercolor series. It is available in 30 ml dropper bottles in 24 different color options, and each bottle contains a small ball for easy shaking and mixing of the paint. It is an ideal paint for many different techniques, including watercolor painting, urban sketching, calligraphy, handwriting, and airbrush ink techniques (from 0.15 mm). The Aqua Drop series consists of 24 cadmium-free, transparent colors and an opaque white. The paints have the highest level of lightfastness: 4 or 5 stars for all colors. The pigments offer the finest quality and intensity. All AQUA DROP colors can be mixed seamlessly with other Schmincke watercolors, such as HORADAM® watercolor and AKADEMIE® watercolor. The opaque white in the series can be used as a pure white color or mixed with other colors using a brush or pen nib to brighten them; it also increases the opacity of the paints. (Do not use opaque white or mixtures containing opaque white with the Aqua Drop Liner!) Note on paper or other surfaces: AQUA DROP is a watercolor and is therefore suitable for all watercolor papers and primed canvases. For uniform application with the AQUA DROP LINER, smooth, hot-pressed paper is recommended. The purer the paint is applied and the more absorbent the substrate, the stronger the pigments will bond to the surface. It is recommended to conduct individual preliminary tests before starting the final work.
