Schmincke Mussini Artist Oil Paint 150 ml Series 2 102 Zinc White

Series 2 102 Zinc White Mussini Finest Artists' Oil Color is a high-quality oil paint that has distinguished itself worldwide with its unique quality, containing natural resin as a binder. It is produced based on the formulas of famous masters of art history. The Mussini series features 101 colors and 7 gold tones. 64 of these colors are single-pigment colors, possessing the highest possible level of vibrancy, brilliance, and purity. Therefore, it is an artists' series with a very wide variety of pure, single-pigment colors. Additionally, 42 colors in the series are of an exclusive and elegant semi-transparent type. The pigments are of premium artist quality and have the highest possible pigment density. Lightfastness and permanence are also at the highest level, as with all Schmincke artist series paints. The drying process is balanced and occurs at the same rate throughout the paint layer. When applied to a painting surface, Mussini paints form a permanent and tension-resistant paint layer. The Mussini series is offered in 108 colors in 35 ml tubes and 32 colors in 150 ml tubes. Mussini oil paints, which stand out all over the world with their unique texture, quality, and properties, were born from the centuries-old experience of the Italian painting tradition and are named after Professor Cesare Mussini, who studied at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts. The eye-catching color quality of the Mussini series stems from being produced using traditional oil painting techniques that have been preserved for many years by old masters, as well as the careful selection of pigments and the use of natural resins as binders. The Mussini series possesses all the most important features that painters worldwide look for in oil paints, such as the brilliant luminosity of the color, the highest level of lightfastness, and a pleasant, smooth, buttery consistency. Mussini is manufactured by incorporating only the best traditional pigments alongside some state-of-the-art pigments into the production process at the highest possible density per unit amount. Mixtures made with these paints lose none of their brilliance and produce results as good as paints made from single, pure pigments. Composed solely of high-quality pigments and natural binders such as linseed oil, safflower oil, and dammar resin, these paints owe their characteristics—such as excellent light refraction, heightened vibrancy, brilliance, and extraordinarily durable color layers—to this quality of raw materials. The superior drying properties of Mussini series oil paints result from the evaporation of the solvent content of the natural resin while the oil-based parts of the paint absorb oxygen and increase in volume, causing the paint layer to shrink to an ideal size. This balanced drying process occurs uniformly throughout the paint layer, creating a tension-resistant paint layer with guaranteed permanence. Schmincke Mussini series oil paints can be mixed extremely easily with Schmincke's other oil paints (Norma Professional, Akademi, and College series) and oil painting mediums to obtain creative tones.
