Schmincke Mussini Artist Oil Paint 35 ml Series 6 475 Cobalt Cerulean Blue

Series 8 475 Cobalt Cerulean Blue Mussini Finest Artists' Oil Color is a high-quality oil paint that stands out worldwide for its unique quality, containing natural resin as a binder. It is produced based on the formulas of famous masters of painting throughout history. The Mussini series consists of 101 colors and 7 gold tones. 64 of these colors are single-pigment colors, possessing the highest possible level of vibrancy, brilliance, and purity. Therefore, it is an artists' series with an exceptionally wide range of pure, single-pigment colors. Additionally, 42 colors in the series are of the select and elegant semi-transparent type. The pigments are of premium artist quality and have the highest possible pigment density. Lightfastness and permanence are also of the highest degree, as is the case with all Schmincke artists' series paints. The drying process is balanced and occurs at the same rate throughout the entire paint layer. When applied to the painting surface, Mussini paints form a permanent and tension-resistant paint layer. The Mussini series is available in 35 ml tubes for 108 colors and 150 ml tubes for 32 colors. Mussini oil paints, which stand out worldwide for their unique texture, quality, and characteristics, were born from centuries of experience in the Italian painting tradition and are named after Professor Cesare Mussini, who worked at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. The eye-catching color quality of the Mussini series stems from its production using the basic oil painting techniques of old masters preserved to this day, as well as the careful selection of pigments and the use of natural resins as binders. The Mussini series possesses all the most important features that artists worldwide look for in oil paints, such as the brilliant luminosity of the color, the highest level of lightfastness, and a pleasant, smooth paste consistency. Mussini is manufactured by incorporating only the best traditional pigments alongside some cutting-edge pigments at the highest possible density per unit. Mixtures made with these paints lose none of their brilliance and produce results as excellent as paints consisting of a single pure pigment. Consisting solely of high-quality pigments combined with natural binders such as linseed oil, safflower oil, and dammar resin, these paints owe their characteristics—such as excellent light refraction, enhanced vibrancy, brilliance, and extraordinarily durable color layers—to this raw material quality. The superior drying properties of Mussini series oil paints result from the evaporation of the solvent content of the natural resin while the oil-based components absorb oxygen and increase in volume, causing the paint layer to retract and shrink to an ideal degree. This balanced drying process occurs uniformly throughout the paint layer, creating a tension-resistant and permanently guaranteed paint film. Schmincke Mussini series oil paints can be mixed very easily with Schmincke's other oil paints (Norma Professional, Akademi, and College series) and oil painting mediums to achieve creative shades.
