Schmincke Mussini Artist Oil Paint 35 ml Series 4 232 Naples Yellow Deep

Series 4 232 Naples Yellow Deep Mussini Finest Artists' Oil Color. Mussini is a high-quality oil color that stands out worldwide for its unique quality, containing natural resin as a binder. It is produced based on the formulas of famous historical masters of painting. The Mussini series consists of 101 colors and 7 gold shades. 64 of these colors are single-pigment colors, possessing the highest possible level of vibrancy, brilliance, and purity. Therefore, it is an artist series with a very wide variety of pure, single-pigment colors. Additionally, 42 of the colors in the series are of the exclusive and elegant semi-transparent type. The pigments are of premium artist quality and have the highest possible pigment density. Lightfastness and permanence are also at the highest level, as with all Schmincke artist series paints. The drying process is balanced and occurs at the same rate throughout the entire paint layer. When applied to the painting surface, Mussini paints form a durable and tension-resistant paint film. The Mussini series is available in 108 colors in 35 ml tubes and 32 colors in 150 ml tubes. Distinguished worldwide for its unique texture, quality, and characteristics, Mussini oil paints were born from the centuries-old experience of the Italian painting tradition and are named after Professor Cesare Mussini, who worked at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts. The eye-catching color quality of the Mussini series stems from being produced using the basic oil painting techniques of old masters, preserved to this day, as well as the careful selection of pigments and the use of natural resins as binders. The Mussini series possesses the most important features sought by artists worldwide for oil paints, such as brilliant color luminosity, the highest level of lightfastness, and a pleasant, soft, buttery consistency. Mussini is manufactured by incorporating only the best traditional pigments and some state-of-the-art pigments into the production process at the highest possible density per unit. Mixtures made with these paints lose nothing of their brilliance and produce results as good as paints made from a single pure pigment. Consisting only of a combination of high-quality pigments and natural binders such as linseed oil, safflower oil, and dammar resin, these paints owe their characteristics—such as excellent light refraction, enhanced vibrancy, brilliance, and extraordinarily durable color layers—to this quality of raw materials. The superior drying properties of Mussini series oil paints result from the evaporation of the solvent content of the natural resin while the oil-based components of the paint absorb oxygen and increase in volume, thus causing the paint layer to contract to an ideal size. This balanced drying process occurs uniformly throughout the paint layer, creating a tension-resistant paint film with guaranteed longevity. Schmincke Mussini series oil paints can be mixed extremely easily with Schmincke's other oil paints (Norma Professional, Akademi, and College series) and oil painting mediums to achieve creative tones.
